TweedPet is operated by TWEED WELLNESS LTD, company number SC826402.

TweedPet is a pet record management and transfer service for pet owners.

It helps owners store copies of veterinary information, request missing records and share records through secure links.

TweedPet is not a veterinary practice.

These terms will set out the rules for TweedPet accounts, including keeping account information accurate, protecting your login credentials, access to your account and the profile information you provide.

Owners are responsible for the information and documents they choose to add to their TweedPet account.

TweedPet provides tools for storing and transferring those records but does not create the underlying veterinary information.

TweedPet stores and organises copies of veterinary records and documents supplied by the owner or uploaded through an owner's veterinary record request.

TweedPet does not create, verify or clinically approve veterinary records.

Managed veterinary record requests work as follows:

• It is included for active pets.
• One request relates to one pet and one veterinary practice.
• TweedPet sends the request to the practice.
• TweedPet tracks the request workflow.
• The practice receives a secure upload link.
• The practice does not need a TweedPet account.
• The practice decides whether and when to respond.
• TweedPet cannot guarantee that records will be received.
• TweedPet cannot guarantee that records received are complete.

There is no separate record request fee.

Pet owners can create secure share links to allow another veterinary professional to view or download the pet's available records.

• The receiving vet does not need a TweedPet account.
• The owner can revoke access at any time.
• Share links do not need to expire automatically. Access continues until the owner revokes it.
• A pet's share link gives access to that pet's available records.
• Viewing and download activity may be recorded where supported.

Your first pet is free.

Each extra pet needs a yearly plan, which costs £3.99 a year, VAT included.

• The free place belongs to your account, so if you stop using TweedPet for one pet, another of your pets can become your free pet.
• Every pet gets every feature.
• Plans are paid when you start them and renew once a year until you stop them.
• There is no monthly fee and there are no premium features.
• You can stop a plan renewing at any time. The pet stays active until the end of the year you paid for. No refund is made for the time already paid.
• If a renewal payment fails, the pet stays active for 14 days while you update your card.
• When a plan ends, or when you tell us you no longer need TweedPet for a pet, the pet is locked. Its profile details, records, vaccinations and share links cannot be viewed, downloaded, changed or shared.
• Records of a locked pet are kept for 3 months, then deleted. We email you 30 days and 7 days before deletion. If you reactivate the pet within the 3 months, nothing is deleted.
• You can ask support@tweedpet.com for a copy of a locked pet's records before they are deleted.
• If you tell us your pet has passed away, the profile is kept in loving memory at no charge. You can view and download the records, but nothing can be changed or shared. It is kept until you delete it; after that, the 3 month rule applies.

Automatic reminders, veterinary record requests, secure sharing, vaccinations, record storage and travel functionality are included for every active pet.

The only charge is the yearly plan for each extra pet.

When using TweedPet, you should:

• Use TweedPet lawfully.
• Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to TweedPet or another person's account.
• Not upload malicious files.
• Not misuse another person's secure upload or share link.
